Parents,
Homecoming is one of the most anticipated times of the year when school spirit is on full display and it is fast approaching. We want this memorable event to be fun for everyone and ask that you remind your children to not engage in any destruction of property on or off campus and refrain from trespassing on private property. These actions can lead to criminal consequences and also prevent them from participating in Homecoming activities, which none of us want to see happen.
Let’s keep Homecoming a time of celebration for all and looked back upon fondly for all the right reasons.

PDHS Kindergarten Parents,
Today in your child's folder you will find his/her DRDP-K results. Desired Results Developmental Profile-Kindergarten is an assessment designed to measure Kindergarten readiness for individual children to identify where a child may require additional instructional support.
Please review the report and reach out to your child's teacher with any questions or concerns.

On Tuesday, Oct 1st we will take our school yearbook photos. Seniors will take their cap and gown portraits and Pk-11th will take traditional school uniform photos. Payment order envelopes are going home this week. Pictures can be purchased online or by sending payment back in the envelopes. Pre-order online at mylifetouch.com
using your Student ID or Picture Day ID: KGKHTBTVE
We will not be having a retake opportunity this year. Please make every effort to be present for yearbook pictures!

PDHS parents,
Please check your student's folder today for their Literacy Screening results. This assessment measures students' grasp of phonics and fundamental reading skills.
These reports contain important information about your child's performance on the Literacy Screener as well as helpful tips and activities you can do at home to help improve their reading skills. We are so proud of their hard work and look forward to seeing how much they learn and grow this year! Please reach out to your child's teacher if you have any questions about the report or your child's results.
