The third week of Bossier Schools Summer Meal Program pickup is scheduled for Tuesday morning, June 17, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Check out these helpful tips: 👉 If your children are not with you, please have your scan code and parent pickup forms printed out to expedite the process. The forms are needed EACH WEEK. 😎 Parkway and W.T. Lewis are the largest sites and have little to no wait. 🎉More than 225,000 meals have already been distributed in the first two weeks! Plain Dealing High School is excited to celebrate two graduation ceremonies on Friday, May 16, 2025. Kindergarten Graduation will begin at 9:00 AM in the Activities Building, and High School Graduation will take place at 6:00 PM in the Bobby C. Bryant Gymnasium. Guests attending either event are asked to park in the lot located in front of the football field. Parking in front of the school will be reserved for designated guests only. To ensure a safe and respectful environment, all attendees will be required to pass through Open Gate metal detectors upon entry. We kindly ask that all guests help preserve the dignity and solemnity of both ceremonies by maintaining proper decorum throughout the events. Plain Dealing High School looks forward to celebrating these important milestones alongside our students, families, and community.

Middle and high school students began receiving their course request forms today for the upcoming school year. Please review the courses your child has selected and sign the form to confirm your approval. It is important to note that schedule changes next year will only be made for valid academic reasons. We encourage you to carefully discuss the course selections with your child. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your child’s counselor directly. Thank you for your support.

Parents & Guardians, K-3 Literacy testing scores are being sent home today with your students. Please check your child's backpack and folder for these important results from the End-of-Year screening. Students who scored below proficiency will also be receiving an invitation to participate in our Summer Learning Program. If your child is invited and is able to attend, please sign the contract and return it to school as soon as possible.

PDHS Kindergarten Preview Day Join Us for Kindergarten Preview – May 6th! Dear Plain Dealing Community, We are excited to announce that Tuesday, May 6th is Kindergarten Preview Day at Plain Dealing High School! If you have a child who will be entering kindergarten next year, or if you know someone who does, we warmly invite you to attend. We will host two sessions to accommodate families: Session 1: 2:45 PM Session 2: 4:00 PM During Preview Day, you and your child will have the opportunity to meet our kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Curry, as well as other members of our staff. We will share everything you need to know about starting kindergarten next year. In addition to learning more about our program, families can enjoy ice cream and take part in a special photo opportunity to celebrate this exciting milestone! The event will be held in the school library. We look forward to meeting you and welcoming our newest Little Lions to the Plain Dealing family!
