From senior walks to cap and gown pick-up, the Class of 2026 is soaking up every moment! 🎓 We’re following along as they gear up for the big day.
Plus, we’re going On the Record to discuss the upcoming May 16 vote on Amendment 3 and what a permanent teacher pay raise could mean for Bossier Parish. 🍎
Let's go On the Record with Bossier Schools!

We were honored to welcome Ellen LeClair, representing the Ronald McDonald House, to accept our donation and share more about the incredible impact these small tabs can make. The tabs are recycled and the funds raised help provide support, comfort, and resources for families with children receiving medical care. Every tab collected helps families stay close to their loved ones during difficult times.
We are especially excited to support the Shreveport Ronald McDonald House during its very first year of operation! Thank you to everyone who saved tabs, donated, and helped make a difference in the lives of families in our community.

On Monday our 8th grade students will participate in our 8th grade Farewell Flowers. HMS will provide each 8th grade student ONE flower. This flower is to be given to an adult at HMS that has invested in them, made a mark on their middle school career, or been "their person". This is free for students. It is sometimes difficult for them to narrow it down to one person. They are welcome to write letters to other adults, but they will only be provided with one flower.
Monday afternoon students who purchased a yearbook will receive them. We will have a yearbook signing party that afternoon. All students will be allowed to attend the "party" and sign yearbooks. Please note, students who sign inappropriate things or mess up a students' yearbook will have disciplinary consequences. Students are not to bring shirts to sign. Students will want to bring a pen or writing utensil to sign each other's yearbooks.
