⚽ The BHS Soccer team is coming to BIS for a mini soccer clinic! The clinic will begin immediately after school and end at 5:00 PM. The price is $35 and will include clinic fees, drinks, a snack, and a t-shirt. Please complete the hold registration form in the additional documents using the Local Level Events link. Students that register after September 18th will have their t-shirt dropped off at the school after fall break. We will accept registrations for your child until the day of their clinic. 🏹 BIS/BMS Archery Tryouts are Wednesday, October 2nd and Thursday, October 3rd. There will be sign up information given out during clinic this week and next week. 💪 BIS Fall Social: Benton Community, Support Gunner’s Fight! Meet Gunner, a 12-year-old student at Benton Intermediate who loves basketball, fishing, riding 4-wheelers, playing video games, and spending time with friends and family. Recently, Gunner and his family faced an unimaginable challenge—a large tumor was discovered inside his spine, leading to a diagnosis of cancer after surgery. Since his procedure, Gunner has been unable to walk and is now beginning intensive rehab in New Orleans. His journey to recovery will be long, and the financial strain on his family is immense. His mother, Avis, a self-employed dog groomer in Benton, will be by Gunner’s side, losing her income during this time. His father, Chris, a police officer for Bossier City, will need to balance work and caring for their other three children. Please help us support Gunner and his family through this difficult time. Your donations will assist with medical expenses, lost income, and travel costs. Every contribution counts—if you cannot donate, please share Gunner’s story and keep him in your prayers.
