Mrs. Washington has 15 years of experience in education. Before becoming an administrator, she taught AP Chemistry, Physics, and Robotics at Bossier High School, and assisted in the development of a Virtual High School in Caddo Parish.

About Leslie Bailey, Administrative Assistant
Biography
I am proud to serve as the Assistant Principal at Bossier Parish School for Technology and Innovative Learning. I am a product of Bossier Parish Schools and attended Louisiana State University in Shreveport to get my degree in teaching. I then continued my education by obtaining my Masters in Educational Leadership at LSU-S. In my 19 years as an educator, I began my career teaching 4th grade at Curtis Elementary, then became an instructional coach for 7 years at Legacy Elementary. I look forward to serving as assistant principal for my 4th year at Bossier Parish Schools.
I enjoy serving our parish in this leadership role, as well as working with an amazing administration and faculty. I am very passionate about curriculum and ensuring every student is allowed to be the best version of themselves. We are ready to start the 2024-2025 school year and are excited about what the year will hold.
