Auto Body Repair
About Auto Body Repair
With yearly increases in automobile production, there has been a steady demand for competent collision repair technicians and finishers, which far exceeds the present supply. The collision repair technician is one of the more highly skilled and better paid mechanics. The trained collision repair technician may find employment by doing body work, repair, and painting for collision repair shops, trucking, bus, cab companies, and state and city agencies.
Training could also lead to employment as an automotive glass installer, a damage appraiser/adjuster, a painter for a manufacturing company or plant, or a sales representative for a paint supplier.
